PROVIDING A RELIABLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE

The majority of youth that receive our scholarships are on their own with limited or no family support. Because of this, the Foundation feels that it is crucial that each recipient of the scholarship program be paired with an adult mentor to ensure that these youth have a reliable source for guidance and support through their trade school or college years. These mentors have regular meets and dialog with their mentees helping with everything from educational and emotional support to providing life management skills. The sole purpose of the mentor mentee relationship is to help the students succeed in their educational endeavors and we feel this is a key component to the scholarship recipient's success.
